We’re all aware of the fact that just like our homes, running the St. Bart’s Parish requires funds. Volunteers can only do so much, and then salaries and bills need to be paid. For years our parishioners have diligently, honored their fiscal responsibilities to the parish. For we are grateful.
We are also aware of the uneven state of the economy and the difficulties it has raised for some parishioners. Just as the economy affects each of us so, too, does it present problems for the financial well-being of the parish. In light of this, we ask that, if you are able, you consider adding to your weekly/monthly contributions to help preserve the financial health of the parish.
We recently concluded our Tithe Campaign in three years. Some have embraced the scriptural value of tithing their 5% to the parish and 5% to charities. Some have also decided to stay with their own method of giving back to God. Whichever method is more appealing to you, the end goal is the same – to give back to God in gratitude for what He has given us. Our appeal is that we consider an increase whenever possible so that our growing ministries will continue unhindered and our parish to remain health for years to come.
Finally, our future as a parish community depends on your financial support for all that we try to accomplish as a faith community. We thank you for your past generosity and look forward to your continued support.
How To Give
The Offertory is the traditional way in which parishioners and visitors support the Parish. Regardless of frequency, your offertory funds daily operation at the parish, parish activities, and community outreach programs. Envelopes are provided to registered parishioners.
These are annual collections taken at all parishes of the Archdiocese to support the Church's mission on local, regional, national, and international levels. Monthly we also have a second collection to help offset our bills during the winter and to help with upkeep of our facilities.
We have added an Online-Giving program designed to facilitate regular contributions to the weekly offertory and other scheduled collections is offered for your convenience. By utilizing this plan, your contributions will be automatically transferred from your checking, savings account, or credit card on a scheduled basis, to St. Bart’s.
The Online-Giving program provides a simple, convenient and time saving service to parishioners and assists in the fulfillment of your stewardship commitment. It is anticipated that our parish will benefit from the improved efficiencies and more consistent level of contributions typically associated with Online-Giving collections. Online-Giving contributions will be processed and reported in the bulletin.
Our Online-Giving Enrollment Form & Instruction is available here.
